Heroes, Avalon and Pathfinder

Watched Heroes last night, was a better show this time around, seems its gotten a bit of life to it and may be an OK season.

On to other stuff though, have almost complete the conversion work for Avalon’s game files. Still have bunch of other stuff to do, so we will see how long it takes. I’m not going to offer any new products this coming month though, I would just have to re-upload it all so I’ll hold off on new stuff until November.

Was talking to William the other day, we had talked a bit about Pathfinder and doing up some stuff for it. I had made some plans for little PDF RPG stuff for D20 before Wizard’s screwed the system, so now I think they will work well with Pathfinder. Basically they are little one to two page adventures, simple little off hand encounters and the like that GMs can use anytime they need some filler for their game or something to offer without a lot of set up. They should be fast, fun and offer exciting encounters and or tough little puzzles to be solved.

Another idea was NPC’s. A single NPC with one or two pages of history, background adventure seeds ideas. They can be used as reoccurring villains and foes, or Mentors, one off encounters, etc. Might offer three versions of each with stats at; say 3rd, 7th and 10th level.

Another great idea would be Magical items. A page or so on a set item, its history, maker, past users, etc.

Then some of these might all tie together, say an adventure, which uses one of the NPC’s and or focuses on a set item. This way we can tie them all together. Making them fast and simple will allow Avalon to sell them cheep, for a buck or tow and also allow use to get lots of them out there.

We will see where it goes, but for now it might be a great series of products.

We got a writer for it and are looking at a few more, so this project might fly real soon.
